The 2024 Sunderland Point calendar is now for sale.

The calendars are available to purchase directly from The Haven at No 7 on First Terrace or if required they can be posted. Calendars cost £8.00 and P&P is £2. 40. Please contact Alan Smith at alandsmith7@hotmail.co.uk if you wish to order one.

Part of any profits made will go towards the Mission Hall.

The printers have managed to keep the costs down for the last three years but unfortunately postage has increased considerably.

Planning permission has now been granted for the Tramper mobility scooter shed. Work will begin before the end of November.

The Trust has now received planning permission to install a Biodisc sewage unit, to be situated adjacent to the Mission Hall. Biodisc systems are environmentally friendly and totally silent.

The Tessa Bunny photographic exhibition “Going to the Sand” was taken down this week and will now be displayed elsewhere. It was a big success and a thank you letter has been sent out to all those who supported the event. It also contributed a useful amount of small donations to Mission Funds. The Trust plans to mount a similarly appropriate “Summer Exhibition” each year. Thank you to all who volunteered to curate the event.

The ITV series ‘The Bay’ have been filming here this August and hired the Mission Hall as a dining area and ‘Green Room’. This generated welcome income for the Trust.
