Welcome to the Sunderland Point Mission Church Heritage Centre Official website.

The Mission Hall was originally a place of worship in the Overton and Sunderland Point parish. In 2020 it was handed to the local community by the Diocese of Blackburn. The Mission Hall is now a registered charity and currently undergoing renovation and improvements which primarily include connection to the mains water supply and a sewage outlet. Future works planned are the building of a storage shed, kitchen facilities, an inside toilet and a complete renovation that will see the hall become a fitting place for exhibitions and community activities including a centrepoint for study and awareness of the local nature and environment.

The Mission Hall Heritage Centre is a charitable trust run by appointed and associated trustees, volunteers and friends of the Mission Hall. Funding is entirely dependent on donations. We welcome any donations towards the upkeep of the Hall.
